Therese is an Associate of Shine Lawyers’ Class Actions practice, based in Sydney CBD. Therese represents groups of ordinary Australians who have been wronged by governments and big organisations.
Before joining Shine Lawyers, Therese was an acting Senior Federal Prosecutor at the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions (CDPP). Therese’s work at the CDPP involved Serious Financial and Corporate Crime, Human Exploitation and Illegal Imports and Exports.
Prior to Therese’s CDPP role, she worked in litigation in a mid-sized firm, acting for government clients.
Therese’s extensive experience in complex litigation includes employment and industrial law, administrative law, personal injury, and criminal law. She has appeared in all NSW courts (including the Court of Appeal and the Court of Criminal Appeal) and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
