Susan Gandini is a Special Counsel based in Shine Lawyers’ Cairns branch. With over 20 years of experience in compensation law, Susan is committed to supporting and helping members of the local community navigate their complex legal journeys.
Susan received her legal qualifications from the Queensland University of Technology, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accountancy. She was admitted to practice in both the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
Susan is well-versed in all aspects of compensation law, having practised exclusively in this field since her admission. She worked for a number of compensation law firms throughout Cairns for both the plaintiff and defendant sides, before joining the team at Shine Lawyers in 2009.
Susan is passionate about using her technical legal expertise to guide her clients through the complex legal process. For Susan, it’s a privilege to be able to stand as a voice for her clients, many of whom are experiencing unimaginable hardship.
Devoted to helping those in need, Susan also volunteers at the Cairns Homeless Persons’ Legal Clinic, assisting with tenancy issues, credit problems and family law difficulties.
