Sarah Baker

Sarah chose a career in law for two reasons: to help others through difficult times in their lives and to challenge herself both personally and professionally. Practising public liability and motor vehicle accident law offers her a variation which, along with the client interactions, she finds one of the most rewarding parts of the job.

Before being admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2010, Sarah undertook an extensive amount of study and training. She earned a Bachelor of Legal Studies, a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Conflict Resolution from La Trobe University as well as a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. Before joining Shine in 2018, she spent years working for another firm as a law clerk and another major law firm as a lawyer.

Sarah is honest, compassionate and very hard-working. Her ability to converse with people from all walks of life enables clients to feel at ease and empowered to navigate the legal system.

It's these qualities and her legal nous that has seen Sarah become a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law.
