My nursing experiences helped me make the decision to change careers as I wanted to continue advocating and assisting others in a different capacity as there was only so much advocacy I could do as a nurse.”
Based in our Melbourne branch, Linda joins our compassionate and tenacious Medical Law team. She has experience in many areas of Personal Injury Law, including Public Liability, property damage, Abuse Law, Commercial Litigation, Insurance Law and Motor Vehicle Accident claims. Before becoming a lawyer, Linda also practised as an Orthopaedic and Trauma nurse at the Royal Melbourne Hospital for 8 years.
Her experience as a nurse has taught her many things, including resilience, empathy, persistence, and integrity – this makes Linda the perfect person to support Australians as they navigate their medical negligence claims.
Linda has achieved a Bachelor of Nursing (Distinction) and a Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) with Monash University. She graduated in December 2014, going on to complete her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in November 2016 and was admitted to practice in 2017.
