Kellie Owen

Kellie is an Associate with Shine Lawyers’ personal injury and abuse law practices in Queensland. 

Based in Shine’s Southport branch, Kellie advocates for survivors of abuse and clients with matters involving: 

• Motor vehicle accident law 

• Workers’ compensation law 

• Public liability law 

Prior to joining Shine Lawyers, Kellie gained significant legal and human resource management experience.  Kellie has worked in legal roles for federal, state and local government entities including for Crown Law and the Gold Coast City Council. This experience has given Kellie unique insight into how to best run personal injury claims to bring about successful client outcomes. 

Kellie’s experience in abuse law includes involvement in a state government response to the federal Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. 

Kellie’s commitment to volunteering in her community, supporting survivors of domestic violence, gave her the purpose and motivation to enrol in a law degree. She’s committed to making a real difference for her clients.
