Jessica Steele
Associate
"It takes time to share a life's journey and even longer to unburden years of trauma and suffering, but I am here to listen."
Abuse law
“There is nothing more rewarding than advocating for survivors of abuse and being able to support and provide them with the knowledge that their years of suffering have been recognised by the organisation. To then be able to provide them with a compensation amount, is truly life-changing.”
Based in our Dandenong branch, Jessica is an Associate in our Abuse Law team. Compassionate and determined, Jessica is committed to advocating for Australians from all walks of life, to seek the restitution they deserve.
Previously, Jessica has gained experience in Personal Injury law, specifically in workers’ compensation claims. She now works solely in the Abuse Law space, focusing on historical abuse and forced adoption claims.
Jessica is no stranger to standing up for the little guy and has represented survivors of abuse in claims against governments and large groups including state and private schools and religious entities. She also has gained experience in Victims of Crime compensation matters; Sentencing Act applications and National Redress Scheme matters.
