Helen Gill is a Special Counsel with Shine Lawyers’ Class Actions team.
Helen is a highly regarded and experienced litigator who, for more than 15 years, has helped her clients navigate and resolve complex, multi-million-dollar disputes, including class actions, across Federal and State jurisdictions (at trial and appellate levels).
Helen has considerable experience in commercial litigation, product liability, consumer law, and class actions, and has published articles and case notes in legal journals and online.
Prior to joining Shine Lawyers, Helen spent 6.5 years at a top tier multinational law firm and 4.5 years at a global law firm. During that time, Helen worked on some of Australia’s largest medical device product liability class actions.
Helen graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2008 with a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Medical Science, and a Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice. Her Medical Science degree has been a true asset in strategically navigating the complexities of product liability class actions and translating technical medical and scientific concepts and evidence into plain language.
