Ara has a client-focussed approach and is dedicated to delivering good outcomes with compassion, care and empathy.
Ara is an Associate of Shine Lawyers’ Abuse Law team. Based in Shine’s Sydney CBD branch, Ara is a trusted advocate for survivors of abuse who seek justice against their perpetrators and the institutions which failed to protect them.
Prior to joining Shine, Ara gained valuable legal experience in consumer rights, insurance and banking law. She also has significant advocacy experience for NDIS appeals, including in the Administrative Review Tribunal. As part of her commitment to supporting her community, Ara has volunteered at Marrickville Legal Centre, Western Sydney Community Legal Centre, Advocacy Law Alliance and Self Advocacy Sydney Inc.
Ara is an experienced, compassionate and trusted advocate for her clients and supports them in navigating the often-complex challenges of the institutional abuse claim process.
